The Lord said: Jeremiah, I am your creator and before you were born, I chose you to speak for me to the nations. I replied, I'm not a good speaker, Lord, and I am too young. Don't say you're too young, the Lord answered. If
I tell you to go and speak to someone, then go! And when I tell you what to say, don't leave out a word! I promise to be with you and keep you safe, so don't be afraid (Jer.1:4-8).
It is such a great blessing to see and live what God has prepared for his children. He is a good Father, and his love will chase after us wherever we go.
I was just 17 years old when God called me to serve Him as a translator. I was in my third semester at the university and my English was not good enough to translate. At that moment, I felt like Jeremiah, and I said, "Lord,
I'm too young and I'm not a great English speaker.” However, I could feel his love encouraging me because He promised He will be with me, and He will reach others through my life. Because I believed in God's word
and grace, I now know what it means to be second, to be used by Him. It does not matter how many limitations we may have, his grace and love abound in our humanity. He is such a good Father that even though we are sinners
and imperfect, He has chosen us to bring the Good News to everyone, to do whatever He asks us to do, go wherever He asks us to go, and give whatever He asks us to give.
Now I know that I do not have to be afraid, He has promised to be by my side, and He won't fail. I know He has chosen us!

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another (Pr. 27:17).
This Bible verse has become a reality in Medellin, Colombia, through the joint efforts of Men for Missions, Satura Colombia, and local churches.
I met Doug and Cindy Tankersley two years ago during one of the short-term evangelism mission trips to Medellin. Since the first day I saw this work,my heart was filled with joy. Never before had I seen so much love, devotion,
and encouragement to selflessly help others.
Pastors of Colombian churches have felt encouraged, loved, and supported as an answer to your prayers. These evangelism teams have encouraged a local pastor, Fredy Lopera, to form an evangelism team from his own church to support
other local churches.
The church members have not only received evangelism training through Satura Colombia, but through these short-term mission teams, have practiced and are ready to continue the work of discipleship using the Train and Multiply
The volunteer local translators from different denominations that are a part of the teams are also challenged in their faith to tell others about Jesus. Their faith has grown to see the many miracles that God does in people
as we go door-to-door.
The MFM team members from North America return with a fire in their hearts to continue the work of God in their country. After God has impacted them deeply, they return ready to encourage others to be involved in missions.
It would be impossible to mention all the many testimonies and wonders that we have seen. Only those who have actually been a part of this experience can truly understand and attempt to describe what they feel. There are never
enough words to describe how God's glory is poured out as we share the Gospel.

My translation experience with Men for Missions has been a great blessing in my life. Every time I translate, it brings me closer to my great passion and dream of being a missionary.
God has given me the privilege of belonging to this group of translators with whom I have been able to share so many wonderful things, especially our faith in Jesus. I’m so thankful to God for people like Douglas
and Cindy Tankersley who inspire us to respond to the call of Jesus and teach us that we are not only translators, but we are messengers of the sacrifice Jesus paid on the cross.
Each time I translate, I realize my purpose and worth. I can only say that my heart is filled with thankfulness and gratitude for everything beautiful that I have experienced. My life has been changed and indescribably
