Update from Warren
Greenwood, IN,
United States
Warren - "The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayers of the righteous. Bright eyes gladden the heart; good news puts fat on the bones. He whose ear listens to the life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise. He who neglects discipline despises himself, but he who listens to reproof acquires understanding. The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom, and before honor comes humility." (Proverbs 15:29-33).

Ever since November 15, 1979, Proverbs 15:1, has been a hallmark verse for me. This morning verses 32-33 spoke to me as I think about the discipline of praying more and the discipline to exercise more and eat less. The need to always fear the Lord and to walk humbly before Him, to look to Him for wisdom for every area of life. That wisdom from above that is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering without hypocrisy (James 3:17). These are just some thoughts as I begin to pray for Sasha and Natasha and MECS in Moscow, then to the Tankersleys in Colombia, then to Haiti.

It is our desire to be strong in Christ every day. Thank you for lifting our arms as Velma is in her seventh week of vertigo. I hope you receive the new ACTION magazine soon. Gene and Velma are working on the next one.

I am presently looking at the Men for Missions By-Laws and structure to make changes and prepare them for the new Global One Mission Society. Also, I am working on the upcoming U.K. and Canadian Cabinet meetings.

We stand and serve by the grace of God and in the strength of your prayers.

A prisoner of Hope,

Warren Hardig, Executive Director
Men for Missions International
