Mike - August Prayer Update: "Don’t be weary in prayer; keep at it; watch for God’s answers, and remember to be thankful when they come."  Col. 4:2 (NLT)

God reminded me of the above verse in Colossians today as I reflected back on the past two weeks Ann and I spent in Ukraine. I am so thankful for your faithfulness to pray and that you were not weary in doing so. God did indeed answer and in mighty ways, I might add.

In my quarterly update next month, I will highlight some amazing events and opportunities that took place while we spent the last two weeks of July in Kiev, Ukraine helping out with the summer English Camps.

Your prayers were answered in several ways. God gave us safety and protection as we traveled there and throughout Kiev. Also, life changing journeys took place, both with teachers and students and no one got sick, PTL!

We were able to spend the last two days with our good friends Kevin and Debbie Nelson (OMS missionaries to Ukraine). What a blessing that was and an encouragement to each of us.

Thanks so much once again for praying for us. Please continue to pray for the Nelsons as the second English camp begins in a week and there is so much prep work that needs to be done.

Please pray for:
• The second English Camp next week that lives will be changed for Jesus.
• Strength for Kevin and the staff to do what needs to be done.
• Both Kevin and Debbie as they have multiple responsibilities that compete with their time.
• A team to be raised up from this area, in the next two years, to partake in the English Camp ministries.
• More Colombia evangelism teams to be sent out. The fruit continues to be ripe and ready for harvest. I leave for Colombia in February.
• God to put together the individuals He wants on the Colombia and Haiti teams I will be leading early next year.
• Josh as he leaves for college in two weeks. I will be driving him down to Phoenix, AZ to attend Grand Canyon University.
• Ann as she begins her new job as the East Linn Christian H.S. secretary in two weeks.

Join us in praising God for:
• An absolutely fantastic trip to Kiev, Ukraine that saw many lives changed for the Lord.
• Completed harvest of our seed on the farm.
• The many new believers in Colombia and the openness to share the Gospel.
• Jessica's new job as a dental assistant.
• New prayer and financial supporters.
