Update from Kent
Kent - Pray you’ve had a good week, so hard to believe that we are into the month of September. Monica and I got to spend some time back in Iowa over Labor Day weekend with family and friends.
I was supposed to leave on Tuesday of this week but cancelled our trip due to Hurricane Irma. Please pray for our friends there as they deal with the aftermath of this hurricane. The guys here in the office have been working with our two teams we have in Haiti as well to get them out of Port au Prince this week. They ended up staying and thankfully and through many prayers they did not get much of the hurricane. We still have folks there that have been delayed coming home because of the hurricane hitting the states in a couple days. Please pray for them as they work to get out, and for Haitians and Cubans that were affected.
Please pray for Warren and Velma as she has had vertigo for 5 weeks. Velma had an MRI yesterday that showed there had been no strokes and no evidence of tumors. However, there is a disconnect between her brain and balance system. Our next step in treatment is vestibular rehabilitation in the next few weeks.
Thanks for all your prayer for us, please keep the folks in Texas in your prayers and for God’s leading as we see how MFM can come alongside them. Also for the folks in the path this weekend here in the states.
