Mike - July Prayer Update: "He told them, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.'" Luke 10:2

This week we began our annual harvesting of our rye grass and fescue seed crops. A process that has gone on for over fifty years in our family. Even though we have downsized quite a bit from years past, we continue to keep the farm alive and harvest crops.

Jesus speaks of a harvest in Luke 10 but He is not referring to a seed, fruit, or vegetable crop. He is speaking of a harvest for human souls and the need for more workers to go out into the world and share the good news of the Gospel with as many as will hear. This analogy makes perfect sense for me with my farming background.

Right now, the harvest for souls in Colombia is plentiful and workers are needed for sure to share the message of salvation with a hungry nation. Please pray and ask the Lord to send more workers into that field. I will be leading an evangelism team to Medellin, Colombia next February and would love to have you join me in this life changing journey.

Please pray about this opportunity and I, along with Ann would certainly covet your prayers as we will be leaving in one week for Kiev, Ukraine. We are excited about what God is going to do in the lives of those who are participating in the summer English camps. Many students at the camp will not know Jesus. Pray for opportunities for an abundant harvest of souls for Christ's Kingdom.

Please pray for:

• Safety and protection for my family as we begin our seed harvest on the farm.
• Open doors to share Christ's Love during our time in Ukraine at the English Camp.
• Safety for Ann and me as we travel next week and for God's protection to rest on our kids here at home.
• More workers to go to Colombia to share the Gospel where the harvest is plentiful.
• Our funding to be at 100%.
• Jessica as she begins a new career as a dental assistant tomorrow and for Josh as he prepares to leave for Arizona for college next month.

Join us in praising God for:

• Ann's new job as the HS/MS secretary.
• Our upcoming trip to Ukraine.
• What He is doing overseas through our full time missionaries and the harvests taking place.
• New prayer and financial supporters.

We can't thank you all enough for the time you've invested in this ministry by your prayers and support. We are truly blessed not only by you but because of what we get to do for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is an amazing honor to serve Him. Please let us know how we can be praying for you. We do so love to pray and would welcome your requests.

If you would like to be on our support team of course we would be so very grateful. Please click here for more info.
