Update from Warren
Warren - "My soul, wait in silence for God only, for my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be shaken. On God my salvation and my glory rest; the rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us." (Psalm 62:5-8) This Scripture encouraged me this morning. It is simply incredible how the Scripture can be alive and bless and strengthen us even though we have read it many times.
Everyone is busy preparing agendas and adequate back-up material for OMS Board of Trustees and MFM Cabinet meetings. This is what we call “People Month” here at headquarters. Field Leaders are coming in from around the world this week. OMS Board members will arrive next week. MFM Cabinet members will come that weekend. I am thankful that, as we meet to discuss challenges and difficulties that are in front of us, we have lots of exciting reports of how God is changing lives around the world.
Things that I would like you to pray for are:
• More individuals to join our teams to Colombia. In my forty plus years at MFM, these are the best days ever to have meaningful ministry in Colombia. The last team that went prayed with 275 individuals to receive Christ. Please pray that we will have full teams. There are literally thousands of people in Colombia and other places around the world that will respond to your testimony.
• Gene Bertolet is helping us with a brochure for Cuba that will give people the opportunity to sponsor four Bibles a month, for one year at the cost of $24 per month. Please pray that this project will be well received.
• I am also working on a project to raise funds to have “Ablaze for God” by Dr. Wesley Duewel printed in Cuba.
• Please pray for our OMS Board meetings June 22-24 and our MFM Cabinet meetings June 25-27. Pray that each decision that is made will be God directed and God blessed.
Thank you for your prayers. We stand and serve by the grace of God and in the strength of your prayers.
