Update from Warren
Greenwood, IN,
United States
Warren - As I began this update on what is designated as “Giving Tuesday,” my eyes focused on Psalm 109:30-31 - "With my mouth I will give thanks abundantly to the Lord; and in the midst of many will praise Him. For He stands at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those who judge his soul."

For all of us who have found new life in Christ, we can never thank Him enough. As we approach Christmas, let’s praise Him for the thousands that will celebrate the birth of a Savior for the first time as “believers.” Many of our brothers and sisters in Cuba are rejoicing that they have a Bible, which we need thousands more. I praise Him for those that are receiving the Word of God.

Thanksgiving day we enjoyed a brunch at our home with everyone except Steve who has been in Taiwan for the last 12 days. Pictures on Facebook looked like he was cared for very well. Steve is a solid Christian man, and we are proud of him.

Renee, Elisha, Ben, Velma, and I drove to Evansville for Thanksgiving dinner with Neil and Shannon Bryant, their family, and international students. We spent the weekend with Koy and Margaret Bryant. Elisha had his first quail hunt with me, Koy, Neil, and Neil’s sons.

Now this week, it is back to Bylaws, Structures, reports, and necessary letter writing while fighting back the temptation to think about standing with Elisha behind a Brittany spaniel on point.

Let’s give abundant praise to our Lord this Christmas season. We give praise for you and your part in our ministry.

We stand and serve by the grace of God and in the strength of your prayers.

A prisoner of Hope,

Warren Hardig, Executive Director
Men for Missions International

Still Sharpening : Inspired by the courage and commitment of ordinary men answering God’s call to obedience, Warren has compiled 10 of their stories in Still Sharpening, his second book of personal narratives.
