Men for Missions was founded in 1954 by Dr. Dwight Ferguson because he saw a severe lack of men serving on the mission field, and he wanted to change that.
Men for Mission’s goal is the Lordship of Jesus Christ in each person’s life, at home and around the world.
Men for Missions, a lay movement born of God, mobilizes ordinary men from all walks of life to do extraordinary things by being willing to Do, Go, and Give whatever God asks. God uses Men for Missions to provide opportunities for men to use their talents and testimonies to impact a lost world for Jesus Christ.
Those who serve on Men for Missions teams catch a vision and passion through involvement in various ministries, which helps transform other’s lives, and at the same time strengthens their walk with Christ. The result is seeing men getting closer to God and fulfilling their life’s calling.
Participation in Men for Missions is open to anyone who is willing to affirm:
- I will do whatever God asks me to do
- I will go wherever God asks me to go
- I will give whatever God asks me to give
Men for Missions Global is affiliated with One Mission Society and works not only with OMSG signatories, but with other partners, organizations, churches, individuals, men’s groups, and church groups to challenge men to reach the lost.
One Mission Society is a Charter Member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
