A voice of one calling: in the desert prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain, and the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. (Isaiah 40:3-5)

As we begin to look forward to Easter we have the Lord ahead of us and preparing a place for those who trust, love and follow Him. Yesterday was Ash Wednesday and many churches had services to remind us of our sin black as ash and that we are but finite creatures who have a limited time here on earth. It is only what we do for eternity that is of any value.

I know it has been awhile since I have communicated with you. I became sick on February 12 and then became dehydrated along with some other issues. I ended up in the hospital on Saturday February 15 where I stayed until the evening of Tuesday February 18. I just returned to work this past Monday for half days only. I still tire easily and so I go home, eat lunch, and take a nap. Please pray that my strength and endurance return soon.

We have one of our co-workers out sick this week. Please pray for Josh.

I have decided that God is telling me this is not a good time to go to Colombia in April. Thank you for your prayers concerning this trip and I pray I will be able to go maybe later this year.

Thank you for all your love and support. It is because you are m partner in this that I am able to do what I do.
