This morning as I read:

There are six things which the Lord hates, yes, seven which are an abomination to Him; haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that run rapidly to evil, a false witness who utters lies; and one who spreads strife among brothers. (Proverbs 6:16-19)

Then, immediately my mind went to Psalms 133:

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, coming down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard, coming down upon the edge of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, coming down upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forever. (Psalms 133:1-3)

God is love. He gave us His Son, Jesus. His love for us took Jesus to the cross for our sins so that we might be saved according to Romans 10:9-10.

I need to daily pray, “Lord protect our friendships.”

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. (I John 4:7)

Velma and I have several large projects we are working on, for which we need prayer. First, we are putting together accounts of God’s blessings in our lives and the lives of a few of our friends. These accounts will be put together in one or possibly two books.

Second, I want to build an infrastructure for global ambassadors who will share their testimonies with everyone they can. In the next five years, our goal is to tell one million people how we got saved. I am not talking about a fire escape, rather how their lives can be changed. We want them to know how their lives can be changed to please God and change our culture. It doesn’t matter if we are trying to sell a used vehicle or tell someone about eternal life, it is about relationships. Live out scripture, “hating evil, loving one another, and loving God.”

My third assignment is to write a timeline for MFM. God has done amazing things through laymen around the world in our 66-year history.

May the Lord protect our friendships.

We stand and serve by the grace of God and in the strength of your prayers.

Prisoners of hope,

Warren and Velma
