As a follower of Jesus Christ and with my new title Global Ambassador, I am thinking of Psalm 107:2, Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary.

I remember years ago as a regional director in the Central United States, I did Bible studies in Texas and other states on John 14:27, Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, or let it be fearful.

My friend, Gene Bertolet, has said many times, “All we have to give to those around us is the overflow of Jesus in our lives.” Or, I might say, “Be marinated in God’s Word.” May I encourage each of us to be filled with the Word daily with a prayer on our lips, “Jesus use me?”

Velma and I are cautious about being out in the public these days. We missed being with the OMS Board of Trustees and the MFM-U.S. Cabinet this year due to the Covid 19 virus. In fact, this is the first time in 36 years Velma hasn’t entertained the U.S. Cabinet wives in our home. We missed the ladies and our friends, the Andersons, and McLaughlins who have stayed with us during Cabinet meetings in recent years along with other dear friends. In fact, this is the longest period of time Velma and I have been together in our 47 years with MFM.

We are enjoying this confinement and time is flying by as we continue to work on Sharper than any Two Edged Sword. We are getting closer with three chapters to be completed, edited, and other details.

I have been asked to write a forward page in Dr. Wesley Duewel’s autobiography, All for Jesus, which is a very special honor. David Dick and Hilda Duewel have worked countless hours on this book with much yet to be done. I have read over 320 pages, and my heart has been blessed. I feel privileged to have served with this great man of God. What I have read has put me under conviction for not praying enough. Dr. Duewel explained the great conferences we worked at together, and it was a great honor to pray and assist Dr. Duewel in some of the healing services in OMS Conferences. In rough numbers, Dr. Duewel’s books are over 2.5 million in print in 58 languages. Would you pray for David and Hilda as they continue working? Would you fervently pray for Sharper than any Two Edged Sword that God will guide and anoint each word for His Glory?

There are many challenges before us; however, the greatest is to tell people about a wonderful Savior that can give you peace in your heart and enable you to face the issues of life with confidence. He is totally dependable.

We stand and serve by the grace of God and in the strength of your prayers.

A prisoner of Hope,
